The DSI difference - message from the President

For over 45 years the Graff family has been proudly manufacturing diamond tools for construction, stone cutting and industrial application in Canada. Like any manufacturer operating in a competitive environment our business model is constantly changing. Our industry has seen significant consolidation, some competitors have come, some have gone and we must continually adapt to the reality of a world market.

DSI stands today as the major diamond tool manufacturer in Canada and one of the very few independently owned in North America. This gives us an advantage in many ways. The manner in which we respond to our customer's special requirements, build products that suit the task at hand and offer technical advice, a repair centre and the capability of providing specialty items that cannot be done by an importer. There is no such thing as an "all purpose" diamond tool or customer that is "one size fits all"

We build quality products. The new materials are sourced only from top players in the industry - tried and true. Our diamonds, powders and processes are second to none and we will never compromise this quality for sake of a low price. Our state of the art brazing technology and laser weld capability ensures our products last and virtually eliminate failure on the site. ISO 9001-2000 registered, our auditing committee ensures we never stray from this commitment.

In short, there is a difference at DSI. We are manufacturers from start to finish, not assemblers or importers.
